The booking that lands mid-service
At 6:45pm on a Friday every hand is carrying something and the phone is face down by the till. Bee reads the message as it arrives and answers from the seating sheet you already keep.

Tap one. These are the questions this trade gets every week, answered from your own class list, prices and hours.
At 6:45pm on a Friday every hand is carrying something and the phone is face down by the till. Bee reads the message as it arrives and answers from the seating sheet you already keep.
Are you open now, when is last order, do you take walk-ins. Bee answers from your own hours, including the one-off holiday change, so nobody drives over to a closed kitchen.
Pax count, timing and dietary needs are asked before anything is held. The long table gets booked with the details your kitchen needs, not a bare name and a guess.
Bee will say what the menu marks halal or vegetarian, and whether a table is free. A severe allergy, a deposit, an event price or a complaint comes to you every time.

Marcus YipFounder, ExcuseBeeMore about me
Some of my friends run F&B businesses. One has a restaurant, another ran a cafe. I watched the same Friday happen to both of them. A diner messages in the middle of dinner service. Every hand is full. By the time anyone reads it, that table is eating somewhere else.
I was the CTO of Singapore's top real estate media and tech agency. That is why Bee only answers from what you gave it, and never starts a conversation on its own. I was not willing to ship something that speaks to your customer in ways you did not approve.
You pay us
S$199/month
Bee answers your WhatsApp, day and night, and books the table. Everything in the Pro content plan is included, so you never have to choose between the assistant and the posts that bring the enquiries in.
Meta bills you
Their rate, your card
WhatsApp message charges go straight from Meta to you, on your own account. We do not buy them and resell them to you, and we cannot mark them up, because the account is yours.
Most of Bee's replies cost nothing: Meta does not charge for messages sent inside the 24-hour window a customer opens by messaging you. Only the ones Bee sends after that window closes are billed, at about two cents each in Singapore. Rates checked 2026-09-02.

The cheap plans are cheap because they are an inbox. The thing that answers your customer at 9.47pm sits one or two tiers up, and it is usually charged again on top.

The capability rows come from Wati's own help centre, retrieved 2026-09-01. Wati's Astra agent trains on website links, documents and question and answer pairs, crawls subpages when you ask it to, and is re-trained after you edit the content. Connecting it needs a Wati Pro or Business plan, and it syncs up to 60 days of conversations already held inside Wati. Wati's Google Sheets integration is a chatbot feature on Pro and Business, not a published source the agent reads. On the 24 hour window, Wati publishes the rule, that a message sent outside it without a template is not delivered, but not that its agent sends one to keep the conversation going. Where Wati does not publish, this table says Not published rather than guessing.

These eight are live today, not on a roadmap. Here is what each one does for your F&B business.
Send Bee a WhatsApp chat export. It reads your old conversations and picks up your phrasing and your usual answers.
Paste your web address during setup. Bee goes through the pages to learn what your F&B business really does and sells.
Connect a sheet of prices, classes or stock. Bee reads it fresh on every answer, so an edit in the sheet is live straight away.
Connect your calendar. Bee offers only the slots you left open, then books the one the customer picks.
Bee writes the reply and waits for you to approve it or change it before anything sends. Off by default, on when you want it.
Bee reads each message. If it is plainly personal, a friend making plans or a family matter, Bee stays quiet and leaves it for you. If it is not sure, it answers, because silence looks like a broken number.
WhatsApp shuts the free reply window a day after a customer writes. Bee carries on with a message template Meta has approved, so a late reply still lands.
A hard ceiling of 500 replies a day and 20 turns in one chat. It can never run away with your account.
Yes. ExcuseBee's WhatsApp Assistant reads the message the moment it lands, checks the tables you have marked open, and confirms one into your real calendar. It does this while your floor staff are carrying plates, which is exactly when most booking messages arrive. If nothing is free at the time the diner wants, it says so and offers the nearest seating instead of inventing a table.
No. It can say which dishes your menu marks vegetarian or halal, because those are facts you gave it. Whether a plate suits a severe allergy is the kitchen's call on the night, not a menu tag, so the Assistant tells the diner your manager will confirm, and that conversation is waiting for you in the app.
The Assistant collects the date, the headcount and what the group is celebrating, then hands the enquiry to you. It does not price a buyout, set a minimum spend or take a deposit, because those numbers change with the night and the season, and they are yours to quote. The diner is told the manager will follow up in the same chat.
It runs on the restaurant's own WhatsApp Business account on Meta's official Business Platform, not on a line ExcuseBee owns. How your current number fits into that is part of what we set up together, so ask us about your specific situation rather than assuming either answer.
The WhatsApp Assistant plan is S$199 a month, and it includes everything in the Pro content plan, so a restaurant never has to choose between the assistant and the content that generates the enquiries. Meta charges for the messages themselves, billed to the restaurant by Meta on the restaurant's own account, and ExcuseBee does not mark those charges up.
Yes. The Assistant replies in the language the diner writes in. That matters in F&B, where one table's organiser writes in English, an auntie asks about the fish in Mandarin, and a colleague checks the halal menu in Malay, sometimes in the same evening.
