Who is behind ExcuseBee
ExcuseBee is a Singapore company. We build two things for small businesses here: an assistant that answers customer enquiries on Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform, and a content team that keeps your social accounts alive without you opening a design tool.

Marcus is the founder of ExcuseBee and the former CTO of Singapore's top real estate media and tech agency, where he built the content engine behind its rise into one of Singapore's best-known real estate marketing operations. He writes about what actually works for small Singapore businesses trying to stay visible without hiring an agency.
That job was mostly one problem repeated: a small team has more to say than it has hours to say it in, and the enquiries that content generates arrive at nine at night. ExcuseBee is the answer we kept wishing we could buy.
How we write about software, including our own
We publish comparisons that include our own product. That is a conflict of interest, and pretending otherwise would be the fastest way to lose the reader. So we work to three rules.
We only publish what the product actually does
Every feature claim on this site is checked against what the software enforces in code, not against what we would like it to do. If a comparison table says a plan includes something, that plan includes it today.
We name the trade-offs
ExcuseBee is not the right tool for everyone, and our guides say so. If a business needs certified WhatsApp Business API infrastructure or high-volume outbound broadcasts, we will point at the tools that do that properly.
Prices are in Singapore dollars, and they are the real ones
Competitor pricing in our comparisons carries the date we checked it. Software pricing moves; undated comparisons quietly become false.
